Left of Centre emerged victorious at the Battle of the Bands finals this past week, and have earned the opening position at this year’s Rock the Block event! The guys will be joining Trooper, Alyssa Reid, and These Kids Wear Crowns on Friday, September 5th in Downtown Brandon for the annual kick-off party to University and College classes. The event is held on Rosser Ave, between 7th and 9th Street. Gates will open at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $30 in advance and can be purchased in person at the BUSU office or the Town Centre, as well as by phone @ 204-727-9660. Left of Centre will also be playing the Rock the Block after party at Houstons later that night… so the party will be going all night long! Don’t miss out!
Left of Centre has advanced to the finals of the 2014 Rock the Block Battle of the Bands! The finals will be held at The 40 in Brandon on Wednesday, August 20th at 7:00 PM. The winner of that night’s competition will play Rock the Block on Friday, September 5th along with Trooper, Theses Kids Wear Crowns, and Alyssa Reid. Come out and cheer the band on to victory!
Left of Centre will join Canadian rockers One Bad Son for the Winnipeg stop on their current tour. One Bad Son has just been named the 2014 Rock Artist of the Year at the Sirius XM Indies! The bands will play Tuesday, July 29th at the Pyramid Cabaret. Doors open at 9 PM. Left of Centre takes the stage at 9:30 and One Bad Son closes out the night. Come out and enjoy some high-energy, up and coming Canadian rock!

Left of Centre is playing the inaugural Delodaze festival in Deloraine this Saturday night (July 12). The band takes the stage at 8 PM, prior to the festival headliner, Harlequin. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at the gate. LOC follows that up as the Friday night headliner at Ridgefest 11 on July 18. Tickets are $10 and available at the door of The 40.
