‘Let This Die’ debuted on 204 The Hits this past Monday as part of New Music Monday. We are super proud to announce that in our first week of airplay we have cracked the 204 Top Ten! ‘Let This Die’ came in at #10 on the weekly countdown, which airs Friday’s at noon. The 204 Top Ten re-airs Friday at 10 PM, Saturday at 2 PM & 10 PM, and Sunday at 2 PM & 10 PM, so tune in over the weekend to catch it or yourself. Rejoice rock lovers, ‘204 The Hitz’ has arisen from the ashes of Power 97 and is now providing Winnipeg with it’s only dedicated modern rock radio station! 204 The Hitz has been broadcasting online and via the TuneIn app since March 6, boasting a non-stop music (ad-free) experience. Left of Centre will be featured in this week’s edition of ‘New Music Monday’ which airs on Monday, April 6th. Left of Centre’s track, ‘Left to Burn,’ will be featured in next week’s episode of Open Heart, which airs Tuesday nights on YTV in Canada, and TeenNick in the US. Open Heart is the newest hospital drama series, which debuted in North America on January 20th, 2015. The HWY 21 track is featured in episode 10, titled ‘Paying for It,’ which airs Tuesday, March 17th, 2015 at 9 PM ET. For more information on ‘Open Heart’ check out their website here.
Left of Centre will be joining Bastard Poetry (Saskatoon, SK) on the Manitoba leg of their upcoming cross-Canada tour. Catch Bastard Poetry and Left of Centre at the Double Decker Tavern on Friday, May 22nd. They will be at the Good Will Social Club in Winnipeg the following night (Saturday, May 23rd) along with Giants of the River. Tickets for both shows can be purchased at the door.
Congratulations to Canada’s 2015 World Junior Championship hockey team who took home gold at this year’s tournament! For those of you who missed it (or want to see it again!), Left of Centre played a part in the journey’s opening moments. TSN featured our track ‘Let This Die’ and focused on its message during the tournament’s opening montage on boxing day. We just can’t keep the cat in the bag any longer. ‘Let This Die’ will be the track you hear during the opening montage of the World Junior Hockey Championship on TSN!
